Equipment involved includes conveyors, grinders, fans, industrial tools, and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of processing and manufacturing equipment, including air compressors, conveyors, industrial fans, electric motors, pneumatic tools, gearboxes, etc.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to reduce equipment downtime and ensure operational reliability.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures quickly and effectively.
- Read, interpret, and work from mechanical/electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical repair manuals.
- Work with process automation components such as proximity switches, transformers, relays, limit switches, HMIs, and PLCs in a manufacturing setting.
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery with knowledge of gearboxes, reducers, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Respond efficiently to unscheduled repairs and adjust priorities as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
- Apply knowledge of occupational hazards and follow all safety precautions.
- Operate personal lifts and material handling equipment.
- Safely rig, lift, and relocate heavy components using forklifts, boom lifts, overhead cranes, etc.
- Perform fabrication tasks using oxy-acetylene torches, welding equipment (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW), drill presses, band saws, plate shears, and other shop tools.
- Understand and follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Support quality initiatives by ensuring manufacturing processes meet required specifications.
- Foster teamwork by sharing knowledge, techniques, and best practices with colleagues.
- Fabricate steel structures through accurate measuring, cutting, bending, and welding.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job status and needs.
- Perform additional duties as required by the Maintenance Supervisor or management.
- Must be available to work full-time (First Shift: 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong understanding of electrical maintenance including 3-phase systems, VFDs, controls, and troubleshooting
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Must own a basic set of tools and demonstrate proper care and usage
- Vocational training or AA/AS degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or related field
- OSHA or other recognized safety training certifications
- Technical understanding of automation and control systems
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or assist with emergency breakdowns
