Manufacturing Engineer

Pay: $75,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year

Job description:

Responsibilities:

Assess current manufacturing processes; conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
Assist in the creation of new products, work processes, and other manufacturing needs
Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts
Create schematics and technical drawings using CAD and CAM software
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles
Test all equipment for safety and effectiveness
Repair or redesign malfunctioning equipment
Direct and oversee the entire lifecycle of a product’s manufacturing process, including design, construction, packaging, and quality control
Educate, train, and supervise new employees on current manufacturing and workflow processes
Develop and implement efficient quality control processes and cost-saving measures

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Proven experience in manufacturing engineering or related role
Proficiency in CAD and CAM software
Proficient in data analysis programs and Microsoft Suite
Familiarity with process engineering techniques
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Must know metal fabrication, previous working in metal fabrication industry is preferred
